haircut and scavenger hunt

Amanda, Tyler and I all went to get Amanda's hair cut today, by her friend Gina Marie from her church group. Gina Marie's garage was the makeshift studio. Amanda hated how her hair looked after it was cut, but I don't think it looks bad.

We also went afterward to the Streets of Brentwood to do a scavenger hunt with the church group. Instead of the traditional "find these items" list, though, we were given instructions to take pictures doing certain things, such as playing video games (above) and riding a skateboard. We even had to get someone to rap for us on film. The group that I was in won, and we all got Jamba Juice gift cards.

Purty lights at Fairview and Sand Creek.

After the scavenger hunt, most of the group went ice skating, but Tyler and I and a few other people went over to Starbucks and to get caramel apples, which were delicious. Being as uncoordinated as I am, I lived vicariously through the skaters twirling around confidently on the ice, while sipping my toffee nut latte.
