superbowl sunday

Well, today the world gathered around their High-Def televisions to honor the national religious holiday of the Superbowl, along with offerings of chips, dip, and alcohol, and collectively yelled and groaned as the men in tights ran around the field and smashed into eachother. I, for one, did not partake in the Watching and Eating ceremonies, and instead went job hunting and made lunch for the family.

... And bummed around on the computer a bit and took picture with Bernadette while waiting for my applications to print out. That too.

Look who's reading Stephen King now? Claire found The Green Mile that I'd bought at Half Price Books and accidentally left in the car after our Capitola trip, and is currently scaring the pants off of herself by delving into the book.

Printing out applications = yay. Not really, though. I hate filling those out. I applied at In-N-Out, Barnes and Nobel, Peets, and Micheals. I'm not too hopeful about getting any calls back, though. The job market is crap right now.
